Resonance events launches at Town Hall

Town Hall was famed for its legendary all night sessions in the late 1950s, which featured some of the world’s best jazz musicians like Dizzy Gillespie, Count Basie and Humphrey Lyttelton. Following on from these historic events live hip-hop, leftfield and jazz will return to the city venue on a regular basis when Town Hall Birmingham launches resonance events on Bank Holiday Sunday 25 May.

The first resonance presents… will feature London beat maniacs The Herbaliser, DJs Ollie Teeba and Jake Wherry team up with stunning vocalist Jessica Darling and five-piece band featuring Ralph Lamb, Andy Ross and local boy Chris Bowden. resonance events also welcomes Substance main man and mixologist Chris Read back to Birmingham alongside charismatic mc and beatboxer Mad Flow for the very best in party music shot through with a rare groove flavour.
