HRH The Duke of Gloucester unveiled a Birmingham Civic Society Renaissance Award presented to Town Hall Birmingham today (Friday 11 July).

Pictured with Peter Miles (Birmingham Civic Society) [left] and Simon Wales (Town Hall General Manager) [centre], His Royal Highness unveiled the commemorative plaque given in recognition of the scale and quality of the renovation of the Grade 1 listed building, which reopened in October 2007 following a £35million project funded by Birmingham City Council, Heritage Lottery Fund and the European Regional Development Fund.
