Town Hall’s reputation as a flexible, multi-purpose venue will be further demonstrated when it welcomes Britain’s contribution to European Job Week. Hosted by Jobcentre Plus, European Jobs Day (Wednesday 28 October (10am-3pm) is a unique opportunity to find out more about working elsewhere in Europe. This is the first time the event has been held in Birmingham and also marks the 15th anniversary of EURES (the European Employment Services network). Entry is free and EURES advisers from 12 countries, alongside numerous local, and national organisations, will be on hand to speak to jobseekers and students interested in working abroad. Town Hall has previously hosted job fairs for BRMB in 2008 and 2009 and can be hired out for private and corporate use. The uniquely impressive Grade 1 listed building has proved especially popular for banqueting dinners, award ceremonies, conferences, exhibitions and drinks receptions.
