Everyone is welcome at Town Hall and Symphony Hall and we will do whatever we can to ensure you have an enjoyable visit. Staff are available to help, so please ask us if you need any assistance.

Symphony Hall – Disabled Access to Upper Circle & Grand Tier Seats
Lifts are available to access the seating in the upper levels of Symphony Hall but then there are steps within the auditorium up to all rows with the exception of Row A.
Ticket Discounts
50% discount on full-priced tickets for wheelchair user and companion if required.
10-50% discount on full-priced tickets for disabled patrons and up to one companion on many concerts.
Please use the dedicated phone line for disabled patrons when booking tickets (0121 780 4949) and discuss your needs with our staff. It is very helpful to know if you would prefer to transfer from your wheelchair to a seat or whether you will be remaining in your wheelchair for the performance. If you need to borrow a wheelchair to transfer from the main entrance to your seat, please ask a member of staff when you arrive.

Dropping Off & Parking
Symphony Hall
The nearest drop-off point is on Cambridge Street.
Very limited parking for disabled people driving themselves is available at the ICC, and
must be pre-booked.
To Book A Space at Symphony Hall
Please book your space in advance by calling the Box Office 0121 780 4949. You will be asked for your blue badge details, vehicle registration number, concert date, contact name and telephone number before we are able to reserve a space so please make sure you have this information to hand when you call.
Requests for four or more concerts should be put in writing to THSH Box Office, Symphony Hall, Broad Street, Birmingham B1 2EA. Please allow two weeks for a reply.
Additional free parking for disabled patrons is available on Level 9 of the North Car Park at The NIA (National Indoor Arena).
Town Hall
Wheelchair users may be dropped off outside Town Hall by Paradise Circus.
There are three spaces parking spaces for blue badge holders directly outside Town Hall (accessed from Paradise Circus) and thye must be booked in advance.
To Book A Space at Town Hall
Call the Town Hall Stage Door on 0121 644 5039. You will be asked for your blue badge details, vehicle registration number, concert date, contact name and telephone number before we are able to reserve a space so please make sure you have this information to hand when you call.
Other blue badge parking bays are on Margaret Street (near Cornwall Street), Edmund Street (near Margaret Street) and Pinfold Street.

Wheelchair Users
Town Hall, Symphony Hall and The ICC are accessible to wheelchair users and there are various positions where wheelchair users can be seated.
Symphony Hall
Adapted toilets for wheelchair users are located in the foyers on Level 3 and Level 5. A RADAR key is required to access the toilet on Level 3 near the cloakroom – please ask one of the Security Officers if you do not have your own RADAR key.
Town Hall
There are accessible toilets on all levels.
Visually Impaired People
Guide dogs are welcome. You can either keep them with you in the auditorium during the concert or we will be happy to look after your dog for you in the foyer while you enjoy the performance. Please ask a member of staff if you need help to get to your seat.
Symphony Hall

Hearing Impaired People
Symphony Hall
Symphony Hall is equipped with an infra-red hearing enhancement system, which can be used in conjunction with a hearing aid or with ear-phones. In both cases you will need a receiver to use the system and these are available to borrow, free of charge, from the ‘Symphony Hall Gifts’ stand on the ground floor outside Door 2 – please ask a steward when you arrive.
Town Hall
The auditorium is equipped with a hearing loop system. You will need to switch your hearing aid to the T position.

In the event of a medical emergency please notify a member of staff who will be pleased to help you.
