Change of Date

Because of the ongoing travel disruption relating to the Icelandic volcano eruption, trumpeter James Morrison is unable to travel from Australia to take part in the BBC Big Band Tribute to Louis & Ella performance on Friday April 23rd at Town Hall. Unfortunately the concert has to be postponed for this reason, but we are pleased to confirm that a new date of WEDNESDAY JULY 21ST 2010 has been agreed for the show, with programme and soloists as previously advertised.

We apologise for the inconvenience to existing customers for the concert, and all ticket holders will be contacted and offered refunds or the possibility to transfer existing tickets to the new performance date.

Join Australian trumpet virtuoso James Morrison and the BBC Big Band to hear the sounds of jazz legend Louis Armstrong; including Sleepy Time Down South, All of Me and Struttin’ with some Barbecue.

They are joined by singer Anita Wardell as they recreate the great jazz partnership of Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald.
